Low-budget sci-fi action adventure. When an ape from space crash-lands on Earth, contact with a mysterious substance causes it to grow more than 5 metres in length. As the giant ape escapes its captors and goes on the rampage, a Gila monster lizard is similarly transformed into a titanic beast after stumbling upon the crash site, leading to a mammoth clash between the two giant creatures in Washington DC.
